My name is Daniel Ehwa. I am the owner of Ehwa Electric LLC. We are a residential and commercial service company based out of Bluffton. Born and raised in Massachusetts, I started my career right out of high school, working as an apprentice for my father’s electrical company. I went on to obtain my journeyman electrical license and, soon after, my master’s electrical license. Eventually, after years at the family company, I decided to branch out and open my own company, Ehwa Electric. I successfully ran my business for years before moving to South Carolina.
My wife of 15 years, Diane, and I decided to escape the cold New England winters and relocate to Bluffton. We have three wonderful sons together, Dustin, Dominic and Daniel. Also, we have one dog, an Old English bulldog named Zeus. You can usually find us at the local fields in town, as our boys’ baseball and football schedules keep us busy. In our free time, we love to explore the area, enjoy the local activities, learn to play golf, try new restaurants, and of course, spend time at the beach.
Since the days when I first started under my dad’s company, I have learned a lot about the nature of electrical equipment and how homes are powered. Through my years of schooling, working hands-on in the field and continuing education classes, I have a large bank of knowledge about the subject. You can trust me to get the electrical work done effectively and safely. I like to tell people, “Wiring is not a hobby” because it really is not. It is not one of those home-improvement tasks you can just “DIY”; it can be a dangerous project to undertake. So, it is important you get the right person for the job.
Through my years of experience as an electrician, as well as a father and friend, I take pride in having positive interactions with customers and take pride in the community connections I can make through my work. I have made lasting friendships through satisfied customers and fellow contractors. I love to laugh almost as much as making others laugh, and having conversations with clients always puts a smile on my face.
